The surcharges collected from the sales of this coin will be used as a fund for a variety of organizations and projects that benefit the public. The obverse of this coin depicts three men playing basketball. The reverse of this coin depicts Atlanta Committee for the Olympic Games Mark juxtaposed over a globe that represents the nearly 200 nations of the world that came together for the 1996 Centennial Olympic Games.
