The United States of America had issued this commemorative Penny with the theme of professional line of Abraham Lincoln in Illinois. Abraham Lincoln was an American statesman, lawyer and 16th president of the United States of America. He had served his country as president from 1861 until his assassination in April 1865.

The United States of America had issued four different pennies in the year 2009, which represents four major aspects of Lincoln’s life.
