Exotic birds illustrated on stamps by Romfilatelia

Six beautiful stamps were issued by Romfilatelia illustrating different species of exotic birds. Romfilatelia is presenting continues series of the project dedicated to Fauna which is also the most appreciated and favoured theme for the stamp collectors. This stamp features beautiful and colourful exotic bird species like the greater bird-of-paradise resplendent quetzal, the green-billed toucan, north royal flycatcher, American Flamingo and magnificent riflebird.The greater bird-of-paradise is found in Genus Paradisaea. The resplendent Quetzal is an aptly named bird that many considered among the world’s most beautiful bird. The green-billed toucan belongs to family Ramphastidea located in the southern and eastern Brazil. The northern royal flycatcher is a passerine bird in the family Tityridea. The American flamingo is a larger species of flamingo closely related to the greater Flamingo and Chilean Flamingo habituating naturally North America.
