Todywalla commenced an auction in Mumbai on 26th July. This lot consist few of the rare and amazing specimens from Coinage of Gupta, Greco-Bactriennes et indo-Grecques, Indian sultanates. One of the highlights this auction is the Gold 10 rupees of Queen Victoria, it was issued in 1870 proof restrike fetch INR 5, 25,000.
The obverse of this gold coin depicts the portrait queen Victoria facing left with the divided legend ‘Queen Victoria ‘within the toothed rim. The reverse of this coin depicts circular flora design with denomination and year of issues with toothed.
This collection offered a few of the rare and fantastic specimens for the collectors.
