India is one of the most rapidly growing nations with a huge infantry base and unrivalled powerful weapons. Year on year, the Indian Armed forces is updating itself with the latest powerful weapons and technologies which help them tackle any kind of threat strategically.Battle tanks in Indian Armed forces are the deadliest weapons.
The term ‘Vijayanta’ means Victorious and this name was given to the battle tank which was built in India for Indian Army. The first battle test occurred in the war of 1971, the Bangladesh Liberation War.
A 25 paise commemorative stamp was on 4th March 1976 honouring the 16th Light Cavalry and featuring the battle tank Vijayanta.
India has one of the finest armies in the world and has proved its mettle during various wars after independence. They follow the motto "Service Before Self". They are at the borders 24X7 for protecting us!
So today, let’s pay tribute to our Jawans for their fearless attitude and pray for the great warriors who gave up their lives in battlefields.
