The Star-Spangled Banner was recognized by United States Navy in the year 1889 as their official use and also by the president Woodrow Wilson in the year 1916. In the year 1931, it was made as a National Anthem of United States of America by a congressional resolution on March 3, 1931, which was signed by President Herbert Hoover.
