Orcas Featured on Canadian Coins

The latest release from Canadian Mint’s Wildlife in Motion series features Orcas swimming in a beautiful marine environment.The coins, made of 99.99% pure silver and weighing 31.83 grams, can be purchased at its face value - CAD $100.
The reverse is designed by artist Trevor Tennant and features two orcas swimming with a shoreline at the distance. Other inscriptions include ‘CANADA’, ‘2016’, ‘100 DOLLARS’ and the artist’s initials ‘TT’.
The obverse features the common portrait of the Queen with other inscriptions like ‘ELIZABETH II’ and ‘D G REGINA’.
