Moon Rock Featured on Latest German Stamp

Deutsche Post of Germany issued two special stamps on 1st July. A €3.70 commemorative stamp was released in a pane of 10 and in a souvenir sheet of one to honour the 50th anniversary of the famed Apollo 11 mission. A €0.80, Moon Rock stamp was released in a pane of 10 as a part of the Microworlds stamp series.Stamps from the Microworlds series feature microscopic images of different items. The Lunar Rock shown on the latest release is under 30x magnification. The €3.70 stamp shows lunar lander Eagle moving towards the moon.
