A portion of the money raised through the sale would be donated to GHOSH Charity to fund support services, research, equipment etc. for the hospital. The coin depicts David Wyatt’s illustration of Peter Pan from the Oxford University Press edition and a popular quote from the book. Apart from Peter Pan, five other coins feature five different characters - Captain Hook, Tick-Tock the Crocodile, Tinkerbell, Wendy and Nana. Thousands of collectors, coin-enthusiasts and Peter Pan fans have already booked them online. The coins won’t be entering general circulation as they are not released by the Royal Mint.
