The 1996 Summer Olympics was held in Atlanta, Georgia, The United States from 19th July 1996 to 4th August 2019. This Olympics is also known as Games of the XXVI Olympiad, and commonly it is known as Atlanta 1996, and also referred to as Centennial Olympics Games. This Centennial Summer Olympics was hosted by Atlanta; it was one of the largest events in the history of this city. Local leaders hoped to use the publicity to promote Atlanta's image as an international city ready to play an important role in global commerce. To get event held in their city Atlanta had almost competed with five other cities. The hosting of the 1996 Olympics in Atlanta had help Atlanta a lot; it had increased attention and investment of the Atlanta around the world.
