10 rupees coin illustrating Lala lajpat Rai

Government of India issued a 10 rupees coin in circulation illustrating the image of freedom fighter Lal Lajpat Rai. It was issued to mark the outstanding contributions by freedom fighter and notable politician Lala Lajpat Rai.This bi-metallic coin depicts national emblem in the centre with denomation below it and ‘India’ in roman script and ‘Bharat’ in Devanagri script is inscribed on both sides. The reverse of the coin depict the portrait of freedom fighter Lala Lajpat Rai with legend ‘150th Birth Anniversary of Lala Lajpat Rai’ in roman and devanagri script around it and date 1865-2015 below it.
This coin is going to come in circulation soon. It will be a fantastic addition to circulating commemorative coins.
