Fakhr Al-Din Mubarak was ruler of Bengal sultanate from 1334 to 1349 AD. He ruled an independent kingdom in areas that lie within modern day eastern and southeastern Bangladesh. He is also the first Muslim ruler to conquest Chittagong, the principal port of Bengal region in 1340 AD. Fakhruddin's capital was Sunargaon.
During the reign he issued gold and silver coins in the denomination of Tanka. These coins were struck at Hadrat Jalal Sunargaon mint.
His coins depicted the legend ‘Al-Sultan Fakhr Al-Dunya Waldeen Abul Muzaffar Mubarak Shah Al Sultan’ on its obverse face. On the other hand, the reverse of a coin bore the legend ‘Yamin Khalifat Allah Almuminin’ within circle.
