Vermont is the state situated in the New England region of the northeastern United States. The capital of this state is Montpelier. The State Vermont makes a border to Massachusetts to the south, New Hampshire to the east, New York to the west and Canadian province of Quebec to the north. Among the 50 states of the United States, state Vermont is second-smallest state by population and sixth smallest by its area.The United States of America had issued it commemorative coin on 6th August 2001. This quarter dollar is the fourth quarter dollar issued in the year 2001 and overall it is 14th quarter dollar issued in 50 State quarters program.
The reverse of this coin depicts the Camel’s Hump Mountain and Maple trees with the sap buckets in the forefront.
