Great Sand Dunes National Park is a National Park situated in the United States of America. It covers large sand dunes up to 750 on the eastern edge of San Luis Valley, and an adjacent national preserve located in the Sangre de Cristo Range, in south-central Colorado, United States. On 17th March 1932 this park was originally designated as Great Sand Dunes National Monument by the US president Herbert Hoover.

Great Sand Dunes National Park contains the largest sand dunes in North America. This Park contains tallest sand dunes in North America with ever-changing crests that rise up to 700 feet.

The United States of America had issued a commemorative coin with the theme of Great Sand Dunes National Park in the year 2014. This quarter dollar is the fourth quarter dollar issued in the year 2014 and overall it is 24th quarter dollar issued in the America Beautiful Quarter Dollar.
