The United States of America had issued this commemorative quarter dollar with the theme of Lowell National Historical Park in the year 2019.
Lowell National Historical Park is situated in Lowell, Massachusetts, United States. It was established in the year 1987, after a few years of Lowell Heritage State Park. This National Park is operated by National Park Service and it comprises a group of different sites in and around the city of Lowell related to the era of textile manufacturing in the city during the Industrial Revolution. In the year 2019, this National Park has also included as Massachusetts' representative in the America the Beautiful Quarters series.
The obverse of this coin is inscribed as depicts the portrait of George Washington. The reverse of this coin depicts the portrait of ‘Mill Girl’ working in a mill with a prominent circular bobbin battery, a view of Lowell, including the Boott Mill clock tower, is seen through the window.
