The United Nation of America had issued the commemorative coin of Andrew Johnson in the year 2011 to honour him. Andrew Johnson had served his country as 17th President of United States of America from 1865 to 1869. Andrew Johnson took the office of presidency after the assassination of President Abraham Lincoln during the closing month of America Civil War (1861-1865).Andrew Johnson was born into a poor family at North Carolina in the year 1808. He started his career as a tailor who later turns into a Politician. After becoming the president of United States of America he had served as Tennessee Legislature and U.S Congress; later he had also served as governor of Tennessee.
The United States of America had issued his commemorative coin with his portrait on the obverse side of the coin.
