The Romania chapter of "The Banknote Book" was published on 4th January. The book presents a catalogue of notes issued by Ministry of Finance from 1877 to 1952, notes issued by the National Bank of Romania from 1880 to present, notes issued by Romanian General Bank in 1917, notes issued by Austro-Hungarian Bank in 1919, and the ones issued by Red Army Command in 1944.

The book provides colour images of Obverse and Reverse designs, face value, demonetization date, detailed descriptions of elements, security feature, printer imprint, date/signature variety, date of introduction, background history, context, Bibliographic sources, signature tables and a lot more.
