Stephen Grover Cleveland was born on 18th March 1837, Caldwell; New Jersey. He had served him as 23rd and 24th President of United States. He was the only president of United States who had served his country as two non-consecutive terms. He has won the presidential election of 1884 and 1892; but had lost the election of 1888 to his Republican foe, Benjamin Harrison.

He had also won the votes for three Presidential elections 1884, 1888 and 1892 and had also won two Democrats (with Woodrow Wilson) to be elected president during the era of Republican political domination dating from 1861 to 1933. He was one of the truly honest and principled politicians of the Gilded Age.

The United States of America had issued his commemorative coin with his portrait on the obverse side of the coin.
