Australia has come up with their new Koala series 2019 issued by Perth Mint. The first Koala series coin was minted in the year 2007, and since then Perth mint brings a unique design each year. This series has a very attractive look which one can add to their fabulous collection.These new series has a unique combination of quality, convenience, and choice. It is stuck with Purity of 99.99% of pure silver. There are nearly around 300,000 coins are released so far and more coins will be issued in the year 2019. However, production of these coins will be closed by the end of 2019. Each coin in this program is issued as legal tender under the Australian Currency Act 1965.
The obverse of this coin has a portrait of Queen Elizabeth II facing towards the right in the centre within the inner circle; and the inscription ‘ELIZABETH II’ ‘AUSTRALIA’ and ‘1 DOLLAR’ in the margin within the outer circle. The reverse of the coin of the coin has a portrait of Koala sitting on the branch of a eucalyptus tree with gum leaves in the background; with the inscription ‘AUSTRALIAN KOALA, The Perth Mint's traditional 'P' mintmark with the year 2019 year, and the weight and purity are also included in the design.
