Copper Two Dokdo of Rasul Muhammad Khan

Junagadh is a city situated in the western Indian states of Gujarat. It was a Princely State during British India and was ruled by the Muslim Babi or Babai dynasty. Muhammad Sher Khan Babi was the founder of Babi Dynasty.Rasul Muhammad Khan ruled the Junagadh from 1891 to 1911 AD. During the reign, he issued gold, silver, and copper coins from Junagadh mint. The denominations are known as Mohur, Kori, and Dokdo.
One of his copper two Dokdo sold for INR 3,600 by Classical Numismatic Gallery. The obverse of a coin showed the value ‘Two Dokdo’ in an inner circle surrounded by Nagari legend ‘Shri Sorath Sarkar 1964’. The reverse of a coin depicts the Persian legend ‘Junagadh Riyasat’.
