Austria Post Celebrates 125 Years of Kunsthistorisches Museum

Austrian Post is celebrating the special 125th anniversary of Kunsthistorisches Museum by issuing a special commemorative stamp.Kunsthistorisches Museum is one of the popular attractions of Vienna, which houses many eye-catching collections. However, the major attraction of the museum is the Egyptian Gallery.
The new stamp issued by Austria post is designed by Gustav Klimt. The stamp depicts a circle showing the history of the Fine Arts.
To its right a mural is shown depicting Egyptian goddess Nekhbet figure holding an Ankh (symbolizes Life). Images of the gods Horus, and Thoth and a vulture are shown behind her.
This beautiful stamp will definitely attract visitor’s attention from all over the world.
