La Poste Honours Sophie Calle with a Special Stamp

France Post has issued a special stamp to honour one of the most popular modern artists “Sophie Calle” who has become a big name in her field since the late 1970s.Born in the city of high fashion on 9 October 1953, Sophie Calle is known as not just a photographer, installation artist, and conceptual artist but also as an impressive writer. Her work frequently depicts human vulnerability and examines identity and intimacy. In 2017 she was shortlisted for the Deutsche Börse Photography Prize for her publication My All.
This impressive woman has been honoured by La Poste with a commemorative stamp worth 1.90 Euros. Designed by Xavier Barrel, the stamp depicts one of her brightest works.
