A Christmas carol on Alderney Post

Alderney Post has issued some fascinating set of the stamp to illustrate the famous characters of the Charles Dickens story ‘A Christmas carol’. This year the post is following the theme of the Christmas program. This set consists of seven stamps designed by illustrator Andrew Robinson.

Charles Dickenson wrote A Christmas Carol in 1843 after seeing the condition for the manufacturing workers in Manchester. This is the story of kindness that should be besotted to each and every individual from any social class and position.
