The birth name of Shah Alam II was Ali Gauhar, He was the sixteenth Mughal Emperor of India who sat on a Mughal throne. He was the son of Alamgir II; he sat on the Mughal throne after murdering his father and took the title Shah Alam II. He ruled the from 1759 CE until 1806 CE.
