World heritage site of UNESCO appeared on stamps

UNESCO added the agricultural and cultural landscape of Kujataa in Southern Greenland to its World Heritage list. To celebrate this great honour Greenland Post issued a commemorating stamp depicting the agricultural landscape of Kujatta designed by the talented artist Aka Hoegh.This stamp features beautiful abounded settlements which sit in a green field with grazing sheep and snowy mountains in the background. It signifies the historic importance of the area.
