Mahmud Shah II was the last ruler of the Khalji dynasty, governing the Malwa Sultanate from 1510 to 1531 AD (AH 916-937). His reign is marked by attempts to maintain Malwa's independence against Bahadur Shah of Gujarat, who ultimately conquered Mandu in 1531, ending Mahmud Shah II's rule and incorporating Malwa into his territory.One-Eighth Tanka of Malwa sultan Mahmud Shah II, weighing 1.25g.
