Everglades National Park Quarter Dollar

Everglades National Park of United States is one of the national parks which protects the unique landscape. This National Park is the home to many rare and endangered species like Manatee, the American crocodile, and the Florida Panther.Everglades National Park was designed as World Heritage site an international biosphere reserve, and a wetland of international importance. This National park is a treasure house not only for the United State but to the entire world.
The United States of America had issued these Quarter dollar on 3rd November 2014 to honour this national park. The obverse side of this coin depicts the portrait of George Washington facing towards left in the centre; the inscription ‘UNITED STATES OF AMERICA’ and ‘QUARTER DOLLAR’ is written on the top and bottom and the inscription ‘LIBERTY’ and ‘IN GOD WE TRUST’ is written on the left and right side of the coin. The reverse side of this coin depicts an Anhinga with outstretched with on a willow tree, with a roseate spoonbill visible in mid-ground in the inner circle; the inscription ‘EVERGLADES’ ‘FLORIDA’ ‘2014’ and ‘E PLURIBUS UNUM’ written in the margin.
