The Republic of Costa Rica is a Central American country with coastlines on the Caribbean and Pacific. It is widely known for its rich biodiversity and scenic natural beauty. The country is filled with beaches, volcanoes, jungles and a varied wildlife!

1000 Colones highlights the Dry Forest Species with the Guanacaste Tree, the national tree of Costa Rica known for its chilling shade - a blessing from the heat, the Pitahaya fruit also called as dragon fruit, and the White Tail Deer.

Isn’t it the most amazing way to create awareness about a nation’s flora and fauna? And obviously, such notes are also very beautiful to look at and collect!
