The Royal Australian Mint introduced the Kangaroo at Sunset Silver Proof Coin in 2010. The final coin of the series would be the Kangaroo at Sunset 2019 $1 Fine Silver Proof Coin. The coin features a popular design by sculptor Wojciech Pietranik.
Collectors from all over the world wait in anticipation for the annual release of this series. The design depicts a Kangaroo jumping across a desert with a setting sun in the background. Officials believe that the design beautifully represents the essence of Australia. The obverse features an effigy of Queen Elizabeth II. Struck on 6.03 grams of 99.9 percent silver in High quality proof standard, the coin has a diameter of 21.69 millimetres and a mintage limit of 2500. It can be purchased for 60.00 AUD.
