Kamran Mirza was the second son of Mughal Emperor Babur, the founder of Mughal Empire and his wife Gulrukh Begum. He was the half-brother of Babur eldest son Humayun and the full brother of Babur’s third son Askari. Kamran Mirza had ruled Kabul and Lahore.This rare silver Sharukhi which weighs around 3.8g, minted in Kabul was sold for INR 29,000 at Todywalla Auction held in Bangalore on 29th July 2017. The obverse of this coin is inscribed with the name and title of the king and reverse of the coin inscribed with the kalmia in the centre and name of the four caliphs around.
