James Madison was an American Statesman and founding father of United States of America. He had also served his country as the fourth president from the year 1809 to 1817 CE. He is also known as ‘Father of the Constitution’ for his vital role in drafting and promoting the United States Constitution and Bill of Rights. In the year 1792, James Madison had founded Democratic-Republican Party with Thomas Jefferson; this political party which they have formed was the first opposition political party of America. When James Madison became the president of U.S.A he had led into the controversial war against Great Britain in the year 1812-1815.The United States of America had issued this 5 dollars gold commemorative coin in the year 1993. The obverse of this coin depicts the image of James Madison Facing towards right studying the Bill of Rights. Inscription ‘JAMES MADISON’ with the year ‘1993’ written at the bottom; Inscription ‘LIBERTY’ with 13 stars and ‘IN GOD WE TRUST’ is written around. The reverse of the coin depicts Madison quote accented by an eagle, the torch of freedom and a laurel branch.
