Robert A Siegel sold a 1 2 p 1851 Black stamp for 135, 000 dollars; it is among the rarest philatelic items. This stamp is printed on a laid paper. It’s a fabled rarity and one of the world’s most desirable classical stamps. It is intense colour with original adhesive on it.It is also said to the first classical stamp of Canadian country, it features the portrait of Queen Victoria created by Alfred Edward Chalon was used. This design was called as Chalon head and was printed in New York. Around 50,000 stamps were printed from 250 sheets, but today only 1450 specimen of this type are known.
