Two souvenir sheets are issued by the Greek Post to honour the 100th anniversary of the Museum of Modern Greek Culture. This fascinating centre that amalgamated the different epitomes of Greek culture was established in 1918, from 1959 till recent years were known as the Museum of Greek Folk Art.

The first stamp recent in the feature image of this article illustrates Erotokritos and Aretousa created by Theofilos. This painting portrays a passage from the 17th-century Cretan epic poem by Vincenzo Kornaros. The Second stamp depicts Alexander the Great, a detached fresco in an aluminium frame.
