Acharya Tulsi Commemorative Coin

Acharya Tulsi was born on 20th October 1914 at Ladnun in Rajasthan; he was one the prominent Jain religious leader. He was the founder of Anuvrata movement and Jain Vishva Bharti Institute. Acharya Tulsi began his journey as the head of the order by educating and training his monks and nuns. At the age of 17, he had taught a large number of monks who later turned into a scholar in the field of Sanskrit and Philosophy.Indian Government had issued this 5 rupees commemorative coin on 4th February on 2014. The set of UNC and proof coin were also issued in 20 Rupee.
