Charity stamp or the stamp of Madonna of Santa Coloma is a very peculiar stamp of the nation. For starters it is the only Charity Stamp of French Andorra and secondly it has a very distinct design.

The stamp was issued on 25th July 1964. This 25th C denominated stamp was added with a surtax of 10 C benefiting the Red Cross. The stamp features the statue of "Our Lady of Meritxell" in the Church of Santa Coloma.

The design of stamp looks like a painting. The stamp depicts Madonna and Child in the centre with the Church of Santa Coloma in the background. The whole design of stamp is in calm blue colour which forms a beautiful contrast with the Green colour of the garments of Madonna. The stamp is inscribed with “VIERGE DE SAINTE COLOMA (virgin saint Coloma)”at the bottom in red along with a red cross

The Red Cross charity stamp was a concept that developed during the First World War in order to raise funds for the war torn nations. The use of the stamp was continued till modern time. However, now, the purpose is different.
