New Estonian Stamp Features the Bird of the Year

Estonia has just introduced a new fauna stamp depicting Estonia’s Bird of the year – The Great Tit bird.The common grooming bird of Estonia, The Great Tit bird is known to everyone by its black strip as well as the black head and a big white blot on the cheeks.
This little bird has a shiny black head with white blots on the cheeks and a beautiful combination of green and yellow.
Depicted on the new stamp of € 0.65, the Great Tit Bird has been selected as the Bird of the Year since 2995 by Estonian Ornithology Society.
