World Tourism Day is commemorating each year on 27th September. It is a day dedicated to spread people about the importance of tourism and the role it plays in the economy.

It has been since September 27, 1980 that the United Nations World Tourism Organization has been celebrating World Tourism Day to promote awareness among the people about the importance of tourism. This year it will be celebrated under the theme of ‘Tourism and the Digital Transformation’.
