World Tourism Day is commemorating each year on 27th September. It is a day dedicated to spread people about the importance of tourism and the role it plays in the economy.<
It has been since September 27, 1980 that the United Nations World Tourism Organization has been celebrating World Tourism Day to promote awareness among the people about the importance of tourism. This year it will be celebrated under the theme of ‘Tourism and the Digital Transformation’.

Many countries around the global has followed the notion presented By UNWTO, India is also one among it. India is a nation with a multitude of exotic locations that can leave you spellbound. From the trails of architectural wonders and serenity of the hills to mesmerizing seas and wildlife experiences, the country has it all.

India is not only the second largest tourism market in Asia after China, but was also ranked 11th in the twenty fastest-growing tourism destinations worldwide by the World Travel and Tourism Council. To establish a good tourist flow for the better economic gain, India has issued a various stamp and first day cover to enlighten the masses and attract people to the magnificent heritage and tourist spots in India.
