Biological diversity' can be defined as the variability among living organisms from all terrestrial, marine, and other aquatic ecosystems and the ecological complexes of which they are a part; this includes diversity within species, between species and of ecosystems.Man is a part of this nature and he should be grateful towards this nature. He should understand that without this nature there will be no future for a human being, therefore he should learn to live in harmony with these natural things like plant, bird, Animal and other natural things like air, water, and other natural resources.
To spread the awareness about nature Indian government had issued this 2 Rupee commemorative coin on 16th October 1993.
