India Post is soon going to release a joint issue stamp between India and South Africa to celebrate 20 years of strategic partnership between the countries. The Union Cabinet gave a heads up for this release during a Cabinet meeting that was chaired by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Thursday.

Commemorative stamps depicting images of Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh thinker Deendayal Upadhyaya and Oliver Reginald Tambo of South Africa were released in June. An MOU was signed between the two countries regarding this release in May.
