Women’s Day Special Coin by Royal Canadian Mint

A special coin was released for general circulation in 2011 by the Royal Australian Mint to celebrate the 100th Anniversary of "International Womens Day".The obverse, designed by engraver Ian Rank-Broadley features the 4th Portrait Queen Elizabeth II facing right. Other inscriptions include ‘ELIZABETH II AUSTRALIA 2011’, ‘IRB’.
The reverse designed by engraver Vladimir Gottwald bears three stylized joyful figures superimposed on top of the words "CELEBRATING 100 YEARS" repeated 12 times. Other inscriptions include, ‘INTERNATIONAL WOMEN'S DAY’, ‘CELEBRATING 100 YEARS’, ‘1911 2011’, ‘20’.
