Gold Pagoda of Kadambas of Goa

This gold gadayana belong to the Kadambas of Goa, it is an anonymous issue. This coin is a conqueror of the Malavas type coin.The obverse of this coin depicts a lion in a standing position facing right with holding a sword in the right hand with the dotted and line circle. The reverse of this coin depicts legend in Devanagari script, it reads ‘Sri / Malaha/ ramari’ with trident above it within the line and dotted borders.
This coin is not listed in Ganesh and Mitchiners and weights around 3.75g. The Todywalla Auction bided this coin for the estimated price of INR 2, 25,000 to 250,000.
