Sandip’s Dance for a Cause Initiative Honoured on New Bhutanese Stamps

Celebrity choreographer and dancer Sandip Soparrkar has been honoured on new stamps of Bhutan for his charitable initiative Dance for a Cause. Sandip is an ace dancer and cinematographer who is also respected for his Dance for a Cause initiative which has been creating awareness about social problems for a decade now. The stamps feature Sandip along with the initiative’s logo.Awareness about social issues related to animal rights, cancer, AIDS, mental health, drugs, and addiction etc. is created through this unique campaign. Sandip was amazed and surprised to know that his image would be featured on postage stamps. He also said that he dedicates this recognition to everyone who supported Dance for a Cause ever since it started.
Sandip wishes that the new stamps would convey the fact dance is not just a hobby but can also make everlasting memories. He also hopes that more people would dedicate their life to the passion of dance. Sandip dreams to create more awareness through the Dance for a Cause initiative by reaching out to more people across the globe.
Officials of Bhutan Postal Corporation also praised the efforts of Sandip and his team which has earned him respect world over. The new stamp has a denomination of 30 Bhutanese Ngultrum and celebrates ten years of Dance for a Cause.
