India Post and UNPA Promote Gender Equality

India Post and United Nations Postal Administration have together issued a set of six stamps promoting gender equality.On the occasion of International Women’s Day, the stamp release was for the “He for She” campaign. Developed by UN women the campaign urges the men to stand up for the rights of their mothers and sisters.
The main aim is to encourage men and boys to speak out and take action against the inequalities faced by women and girls.
These bright coloured stamps depict the images of the faces of three men and three women belonging to different races promoting the elimination of gender discrimination and violence against women.
