The Salem and Roanoke Valley Coin Show
2016-02-29 Mon
Coin and paper currency collectors from across the country had a great time displaying what they have in offering at the Salem and Roanoke Valley Coin Show, in Virginia, USA. Apart from collectors, traders and dealers spent the day buying and trading coins, paper money, medals, tokens and more. Some of the items even dated back to ancient times. The response was very refreshing and vendors say that events and initiatives like these help get the community together."Most of the people that collect are average everyday working people. They're in it for the fun of it. They're in it for the education they can give themselves, and also the children that are coming along," said Bill Griller/Vendor.
The coin show has been a tradition in our area for around 30 years, and there are 4 events annually.
