Coin Invest Trust released a special 20 Dollars .999 5 oz coins for Palau with a 3-D Butterflies set on coin surface. The coins were produced at B. H. Mayer’s Kunstprageanstalt, Munich, with an antique-finish and have a mintage limit of 555 pieces only.

The coat of arms of Palau with the inscription REPUBLIC OF PALAU – 20 $ is depicted on the obverse. A face of a young girl with closed eyes is shown on the reverse. Her long hair depicts all species of butterflies from “Exotic Butterflies” series, arranged as per the date of issue. Other inscriptions on the reverse include the texts “dream edition” and “2018”.

The coins from the “Exotic Butterflies” series were released between 2011 and 2017. Each coin was dedicated to a native butterfly of seven countries from three continents. The mintage limit of each of these coins was 2,500 pieces. All these coloured one-ounce silver coins depicted realistic butterflies flying near its favourite flower. The series went on to become extremely popular among coin collectors and nature lovers.
