Indian Bowler Jhulan Goswami on Special Postage Stamps

Jhulan Goswami is a seam bowler from the Indian Women’s Cricket team who recently took her 200th ODI wicket. A special postage stamp was released to commemorate her achievements.Goswami was the first woman to take 200 one-day international wickets when the team defeated South Africa in a series that was played in February. She broke the record of Australian bowler Cathryn Fitzpatrick, who earlier had the most number of ODI wickets to her name.
Goswami is delighted to achieve this milestone. She has 203 ODI wickets to her name from 169 matches. She has also taken 55 T20 wickets and 40 wickets from 10 Test matches.
Apart from her photo, the stamp also features Kolkata's Victoria Memorial. This special stamp was released in April in the presence of Sourav Ganguly.
