The Ceska Narodni Banka or the Czech National bank had organized a competition to select a design for the country’s new 100-korun banknote. The new banknote is going to feature Alois Rasin and will be released to commemorate the 100th anniversary of the Czechoslovak currency.

The banknote design shown above has been finally selected through the competition process. It was created by painter Eva Haskova. The old notes would remain in circulation even after the new ones are released in 2019.
