First Stamps Featuring King Maha Vajiralongkorn to be Launched on July 28

The first portrait stamps of King Maha Vajiralongkorn were revealed by Thailand Post on 6th February at the 46th National Book Fair & 16th Bangkok International Book Fair 2018 at Queen Sirikit National Convention Centre. These stamps would be released on 28th July to commemorate the King’s birth anniversary.The stamps will carry 12 different prices from one baht to 100 baht and will be issued in different colours. They will be up for sale from 29th March to 8th April at the convention centre.
The portrait of the King will be accompanied with ancient royal decorations, The Ancient and Auspicious Order of the Nine Gems.
Two collection sets of 12 stamps would be available for 220 baht for a small set, and at 4,400 baht for a large set of 12 stamp sheets with each sheet having 20 stamps.
