Can’t believe your eyes? This is not a piece of art, it’s a coin indeed. CIT has produced a unique $5 clover-shaped coin for the nation of Palau. The coin belongs to CIT’s "Ounce of Luck" annual series which began in 2011 and is named Silver Fortune. It has a shape of the shamrock. All the earlier issues had a four-leaf clover included in the piece.
The obverse has smooth surfaces and Palau’s coat of arms. Other inscriptions include REPUBLIC OF PALAU with three stars at both ends, denomination 5$ and the year of issue 2018. The reverse features the clover-leaf with entwined paisley shapes of different sizes.
The 1 ounce .999 silver coin with antique finish has a mintage limit of 2,500 pieces. It is packaged in a white collector’s box.
