Perth Mint released the world’s first 18-carat gold coins studded with pink diamonds called Jewelled Phoenix worth $188,000. The coin is made of 99.9% pure gold. It also contains 1.22 carats of rare, natural pink diamonds from Rio Tinto’s Argyle diamond mine.A flowering paulownia tree is featured on the coin.
